Working closely with the owner of a successful & growing catering company. This role will be an initial temporary role but may lead to a permanent full or part-time role dependent on the right candidate. Your role is to implement a new office system that now fits with the changes that has taken place in the organisation. It is a very hands on position for an individual who can manage all office related tasks, working in a reactive way to any issues that arise on a day to day basis

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Implement a new office system which will encompass the current needs of what the managing director needs and requires
  • Diary and meeting management MD
  • Dealing with calls, resolving any queries if possible and passing on messages
  • Payroll - Manage company payroll internally, including credit control and paying invoices
  • Replying to the MDs emails on his behalf where appropriate
  • Managing emails, with a clear email management and a communication plan,
  • Manage and send quotes to clients
  • Managing supplier relationships and orders
  • Management of general administration and efficient overall operation of the main office
  • Support and where necessary, develop effective and efficient processes within the office
  • Ordering of essential office supplies/materials as required
  • Managing and updating internal systems
  • Assisting the smooth running of the office by dealing with ad hoc tasks and issues
